Linda Yaccarino sent a memo to employees of X (previously Twitter) on Thursday in the aftermath of Elon Musk’s interview with Andrew Ross Sorkin, which she characterised to her employees as “candid” and “profound.”
On Wednesday at the DealBook Summit, Musk accused advertisers of making an attempt to “blackmail” him by pulling ads from the platform following Musk claimed he agreed with a social media post accusing “Jewish communities” of pushing “hatred towards whites.” Musk’s primary responses drew condemnation from the White Property, which blasted Musk for promoting “antisemitic and racist despise.”
“If somebody’s heading to try to blackmail me with promoting?” X proprietor and CTO Musk said for the duration of the interview. “Blackmail me with cash? Go f— oneself. Go. F—. On your own. Is that distinct?”
